SUNFEST Trips

Mad Hatter Promotions offers group trips to the annual SUNFEST music festival in Palm Beach.

While SUNFEST, and our lodging opportunities, are open to our guests for all five days & nights most folks stay Friday through Sunday afternoon.  So that is where we concentrate our group activities.

On Friday Evening, after the music at SUNFEST ends (after 11:00 pm) we meet near the Best Western for a meet & greet. This usually held at a local sports bar.

On Saturday morning, we begin the day with a bicycle ride. But not just any ride. We roll along the most scenic bike path in Palm Beach behind the most expensive & famous homes around. With their back yards on one side and the Intracoastal on the other (and yachts alongside) we roll all the way to the inlet. We call this the 'Trail of Conspicuous Consumption'. Later we dine at one of the famous restaurants on A1A/Main Street and have dessert at Sprinkles Ice Cream Shop, mentioned in People Magazine, before heading back to SUNFEST.

On Saturday afternoon, we will be following well established Mad Hatter SUNFEST tradition and slipping out of the SUNFEST gate long enough to walk next door to E. R. Bradley's Saloon (the fence literally goes around it), a sprawling restaurant & sports bar, to watch the Kentucky Derby. The Saloon's founder was a fan of the horses so they go all out to make it a memorable experience including mint juleps & a free betting pool. It's an exciting & memorable way to take a break from the other excitement that is SUNFEST.

Late on Sunday morning, we do brunch.  This has taken place at numerous fine restaurants in the area and details on this will be provided closer to the even
